From Arlington, Virginia, USA, Tsunami remained true to the street level activism credo of punk, though their music was more pop-orientated than that categorization implied. Comprising Jenny Toomey (guitar/vocals), Kristin Thomson (guitar/vocals), Andrew Webster (bass/vocals) and John Palmer (drums), they once invited the press to try to prove were not punk rock.
