Biography
At one time a roadie for Jimi Hendrix, Tomas Ledin has subsequently established a reputation for his own rock and pop ballads in his native Sweden. His other previous experiences included stints as a backing musician for Abba. In the 90s, he has been acclaimed as Swedens most consistent singer-songwriter. His albums have consistently topped the Scandinavian charts, and by the mid-90s he could claim to have sold nearly one million records. Among his earliest successes was the Never Again duet sung with Abbas Agentha Fältskog, which became a major European success in 1982. Two years earlier he had represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing tenth. In the mid-80s he married Marie Andersson, becoming a multi-millionaire in the process.
