Biography
6 October 1930, Birmingham, West Midlands, England, d. 9 November 1993, London, England. A composer, arranger and musical director for films and television from 1966. In the 50s Myers worked in the theatre, and contributed music to several London West End shows including A Girl Called Jo and served as musical director for the Julian More -James Gilbert hit musical Grab Me A Gondola (1956). In 1966 he scored his first film, a comedy entitled Kaleidoscope, which teamed Warren Beatty with English actress Susannah York. Two other early projects included Ulysses and Tropic Of Cancer for the US director, John Strick. Throughout a career spanning over 60 feature films, Myers worked in several countries besides the UK, including the USA, Canada, Australia, and in Europe, particularly France and Germany.
