Biography
Natalie Alvarado, 2 September 1978, Clear Lake, Texas, USA. Urban pop singer Natalie made a notable entry into the US charts in April 2005 with the affecting ballad Goin Crazy. Raised in Texas, Alvarado attended college for a year on a dance scholarship before joining the Houston Rockets basketball teams dance squad. Although enjoying her work with the Rockets, Alvarados desire to sing led to appearances on stage with a number of Houston-based rap acts, where she began adding freestyle vocals to her dance routines. She was soon finding work at local recording sessions and, with the help of a number of music industry contacts, ended up signing a contract with the Latium Entertainment production company. Initially she was placed with one of the companys most popular acts, Baby Bash, performing on Bubbalicious and Throwed Off.
