Louise Amanda Harman, 19 December 1985, Wembley, London, England. Harman spent her formative years on the notorious Chalkhill Estate in Wembley, a council-owned development no longer standing. Growing up to the diverse sounds of reggae, pop and rap gave Harman a taste for writing her own lyrics. After leaving school early with no qualifications she briefly flitted with a career in sales, hawking everything from doughnuts to windows without any success. Harman then locked herself in her bedroom, spending hours perfecting her rhymes and having to absorb a lot of criticism on Internet hip-hop forums, where she used to post demos. After being put forward for an acting role in a community project, a role Harman excelled in, her rough demo was given to a producer called Medasyn.
