2 April 1978, Moore, Oklahoma, USA. This country singer-songwriter made an immediate impact with her 2002 debut, When You Lie Next To Me. Coffey began singing as a young child and continued performing throughout her school and college years, majoring at Oklahoma University in Vocal Performance. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career, working in film and television and recording song demos in an effort to make a breakthrough. Studio and live work also came her way, the most high profile of which was a stint with Barbra Streisand.
