Biography
A bluegrass band that was formed in 1967, in Louisville, Kentucky, USA and with various changes of personnel played and recorded with considerable success until the late 70s. It originated as a traditional bluegrass unit featuring Lonnie Peerce (USA, d. 31 May 1996, USA; fiddle), Dan Crary (b. 29 September 1939, Kansas City, Kansas, USA; guitar), Wayne Stewart (guitar/vocals), Buddy Spurlock (banjo) and Ebo Walker (bass). Stewart was quickly replaced by Danny Jones (mandolin/vocals) and, following the release of the bands first two albums, Crary by Tony Rice (guitar). Other musicians to play, at some stage of the bands lifetime, included Chuck Nation (b. 28 July 1953, Lafayette, Georgia, USA; fiddle/guitar), Hoot Hester (fiddle), Curtis Burch (guitar/dobro), Courtney Johnson (banjo), Vince Gill (b.
