Biography
Los Angeles, California, USA-based singer-songwriter attended the High School for the Performing Arts as a vocal and cello major. She made her first live performances at open mic nights at the Comedy Store and club gigs throughout the South Central area, but her moonlighting resulted in her being expelled from school. Committed to making a career out of music, she hooked up with bass player Tal Herzberg (b. Israel), guitarist Jimmy Khoury and drummer Sergio González to form the Beth Hart Band. The band played wherever they could, gigging at local clubs or on the streets of Santa Monica, where they came to the attention of the Atlantic Records offshoot, 143 Records. They worked with experienced producers Hugh Padgham, David Foster and Mike Clink on their debut set, Immortal.
