
Mark Miller Biography
c.1951, Houlton, Maine, USA. Raised in East Millinocket, Maine, Mark "Guitar" Miller began playing guitar at the age of six and soon developed exceptional skills. Taking to country music, he played with various bands, eventually striking out on his own. He later worked as a studio musician in Nashville, Tennessee, before returning to Maine. Songs in his repertoire include "Make My Guitar Talk, Talk, Talk To You", "The Messiah Will Come Again" and his own composition "You're A Rain Maker". Having studied Music Education at the University of Maine at Augusta, Miller also passes on his expertise and interests to students. Extremely popular in Maine, in 2006 he was nominated by Maine Governor John Baldacci to serve on the state's Arts Commission.
